Two 'Pillars' of the Method

Muscular CounterPulsation (MCP) per se is a hybrid of assisted circulation (AC) and electrical muscular stimulation (EMS), or in other words - “two in one” according to modern views.

Thereby, all the positive clinical effects of AC and EMS can be expected with the use of MCP.

In addition, while EMS use in some heart patients could be dangerous, MCP is indicated for most of the patients suffering from cardio-vascular diseases.

On the other hand, while AC was used only in operating theatre/ ICU in order to derive the patient from critical state, MCP is used even for prophylaxis of cardio-vascular diseases at home performed by the patient him/herself.
